The inspiration

Looking up at the night sky, I always saw the rabbit on the moon. Different cultures tell different
tales of how the rabbit came to be on the moon. In Chinese mythology, the Jade Rabbit's task is to
mix the elixir of immortality, but what if he was not alone? What if each tale had its own rabbit on the
moon, connected by a portal leading to other worlds?

Painted in deep midnight blues, soft pinks and glowing whites, this piece is poised in time, in the
