Some places stay with you not because of what happens there, but because of how they feel. The south of France – wild and slow and sun drenched – carries
this kind of memory; it is where I return to myself. In the stillness of Occitania, time stretches out. The days hum with cicadas, the evenings soften in lavender light,
and the wind moves as if it's remembering something ancient.
Nature is very powerful in that it can make us feel so small yet so exhilaratingly alive..at moments it can erase the constant hum of our own thoughts and
simply allow us to feel the present, to soak up the sunshine, to bask in the visual glory that surrounds us so completely, and in so doing remove the constant need
to strive to be other than we are at that very moment. Looking up at the Night Sky, exploring the Mountains, enjoying the Garden where family and friends meet..it
is more than enough; it is a blessing, it is plenty.
The Magical South is a collection born of that atmosphere – where every piece carries the echo of summer stone, mountain air and the quiet certainty that you

A garden lives between light and dark – In this garden of plenty, the everyday turns into dreamscape: hares hide behind giant cacti, jewel-green insects glisten in the light, the night sky bursts with stars and the horizon is always shifting between permanence and change. Everything grows, everything is alive, clarifyed by the sun, illuminated by the moon. It is the garden of plenty in the south of France and it is my muse. I spend hours painting the different cacti, shrubs, pine trees, birds and insects that are forever changing with the seasons and time of day. A moment can stretch when surrounded by beauty.
